Telephone Wire & Copper Wire
For centuries, Zulus have been known for their art of weaving natural fibers (palm leaves, dried weeds…).
However in the past few years, these ancestral techniques have been applied to industrial materials -such as telephone or polished copper wire. This has lead to modern creations with an ever evolving graphic design.
Our baskets, made from new telephone wire within a company of insertion employing more than 600 men and women, are guaranteed for a food use and are washable with soapy water.
Our collection comes in 18 shapes and sizes and 28 color combinations and includes some pieces made of pure copper wire.
